2020 registered Moldovans have converted driving licenses"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driving patents issued by the Moldovan authorities can be converted into the Italian ones, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mit.gov.it\/normativa\/circolare-protocollo-39520-del-20122019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"new rule (apre in una nuova scheda)\">new rule<\/a> was applied <strong>from 10 January 2020<\/strong> when the amendments to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mit.gov.it\/sites\/default\/files\/media\/normativa\/2019-12\/circolare_protocolo_39520_del20-12-2019_0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"agreement between the government of the Republic of Moldova and the government of the Italian Republic on the conversion entered into force driving licenses (apre in una nuova scheda)\">agreement between the government of the Republic of Moldova and the government of the Italian Republic on the conversion entered into force driving licenses<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of this date, all <strong>driving licenses issued by the Republic of Moldova are convertible in the Italian Republic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pursuant to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aci.it\/i-servizi\/normative\/codice-della-strada\/titolo-iv-guida-dei-veicoli-e-conduzione-degli-animali\/art-136-bis-disposizioni-in-materia-di-patenti-di-guida-e-di-abilitazioni-professionali-rilasciate-da-stati-dellunione-europea-o-dello-spazio-economico-europeo.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"article 136 of the Highway Code (apre in una nuova scheda)\">article 136 of the Highway Code<\/a>, only those who already <strong>owned a driving license before acquiring residence in Italy <\/strong>can request the conversion of the driving license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is possible to convert <strong>to Moldova license holders residing in Italy by submitting the following documentation to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilportaledellautomobilista.it\/gms\/ricerca\/$N\/$N\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"motorization (apre in una nuova scheda)\">motorization<\/a> or to any <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/guidaevai.com\/elenco-autoscuole\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"driving school: (apre in una nuova scheda)\"><strong>driving school<\/strong>:<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1) <strong>application <\/strong>written on model <a href=\"http:\/\/www.up.aci.it\/foggia\/IMG\/pdf\/TT2112.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"TT2112 (apre in una nuova scheda)\">TT2112<\/a>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) <strong>payment of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.automobile.it\/magazine\/burocrazia\/bollettini-rinnovo-patente-7367\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"postal bulletin of Euro 10.20 on c.\/c. 9001 and Euro 32.00 on c.\/c. 4028 (apre in una nuova scheda)\">postal bulletin of Euro 10.20 on c.\/c. 9001 and Euro 32.00 on c.\/c. 4028<\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3) <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gdf.gov.it\/servizi-per-il-cittadino\/modulistica\/autocertificazione\/dichiarazione-sostitutiva-di-certificazione.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"substitute declaration of certification (apre in una nuova scheda)\">substitute declaration of certification<\/a><\/strong> with indication of the current residence, data and place of first acquisition of residence in Italy specifying the country of origin;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4) <strong>Stamped Medical Certificate<\/strong> with <strong>photo<\/strong> issued by the Medical Health Officer and <strong>photocopy of the same<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5) <strong>two photographs, one of which <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mit.gov.it\/come-fare-per\/patenti-mezzi-abilitazioni\/patenti-mezzi-stradali\/autentica-foto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"authenticated (apre in una nuova scheda)\">authenticated<\/a><\/strong>, the latter can be requested by the person concerned at the counter at the time of submitting the file, to a Notary or Municipality or to the Doctor who issued the certificate;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6) <strong>foreign patent valid in original <\/strong>and a complete photocopy of the same;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7) <strong>full translation of the driving license can<\/strong> be observed by the Diplomatic-Consular Representations in Italy or <strong>by a translator and sworn with oath taken before a Judicial Chancellor<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">8) <strong>certificate of validity and authenticity issued by the consular authorities competent for the territory<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">9) show the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/refusal-and-revocation-of-the-residence-permit-2\/?lang=zh-hans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Residence Permit (apre in una nuova scheda)\">Residence Permit<\/a> <\/strong>or the <strong>Residence Card<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">10) photocopy of identity card;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">11) photocopy of the tax code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The subjects entitled to submit the application are the person concerned<\/strong> by showing a valid identity document <strong>or the person delegated <\/strong>with a valid identity document with a proxy on plain paper signed by the owner of the application plus a photocopy of the identity document of the valid delegator.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 10 January 2020 all
