{"id":16425,"date":"2020-04-14T15:12:09","date_gmt":"2020-04-14T14:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/?p=16425"},"modified":"2020-04-14T15:12:26","modified_gmt":"2020-04-14T14:12:26","slug":"new-rules-for-those-who-enter-italy-with-a-visa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/zh-hans\/news\/new-rules-for-those-who-enter-italy-with-a-visa\/","title":{"rendered":"New rules for those who enter Italy with a visa"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From February 2, 2020, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/doceo\/document\/TA-8-2019-0416_IT.pdf?redirect\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"the reform of the code governing the entry visa (apre in una nuova scheda)\">the reform of the code governing the entry visa<\/a> for Italy came into operation. In particular, efforts have been made to implement <strong>simpler and faster procedures<\/strong> that allow greater collaboration between the bodies in charge of tackling irregular migration, unfortunately there has also been a change in current rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>main changes<\/strong>\nin the new code are the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1) the <strong>cost of the\nentry visa<\/strong> has gone from \u20ac 60 to <strong>\u20ac\n80<\/strong>, the increase will serve to give resources to improve the digital and\ntechnological apparatus of the consulates in order to optimize the efficiency\nof the entities themselves. <strong>Discounts<\/strong>\nare available <strong>for children under 18<\/strong>,\nwhile for <strong>children under 6, students and\nresearchers<\/strong> will continue to be <strong>exempted\nfrom payment<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) extension of the <strong>time\nto submit the application<\/strong> by the non-EU foreign citizen: he now has <strong>from 6 months<\/strong> (no more 3 months) <strong>to 15 days before the trip<\/strong>. The\napplication is submitted electronically directly from the country of residence;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3) evaluation of the &#8220;<em>positive history<\/em>&#8221; of the applicant: the foreign citizen who in\nthe past<strong> has met the deadlines of their\nentry visas, will be able to apply for multiple entry visas with a gradually\nincreasing validity<\/strong>, which will range from one to five years;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4) <strong>greater\nflexibility on the procedures for examining visa applications<\/strong> regarding\naspects such as maximum exam time, visa validity, costs and exemptions from\npayment. These parameters may be negotiated on the basis of the cooperation of\nthe citizen&#8217;s country of origin with regard to returns and readmissions of\nillegal immigrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To date, citizens of 105 countries around the world are\nrequired to apply for a visa to spend a maximum of 90 days for each 180-day\nperiod, for example for tourism or business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to obtain a visa, the foreigner must submit the\nfollowing documentation to the Italian Embassy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>demonstration of the financial means<\/strong> which can also be shown by means of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/\u4fdd\u96aa\u670d\u52d9\/?lang=zh-hans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"guarantee policy (apre in una nuova scheda)\">guarantee policy<\/a>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.waitaly.net\/zh-hans\/pacchetti-welcome\/extra-ue-richiedente-visto-dingresso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"health insurance (apre in una nuova scheda)\">health insurance<\/a><\/strong> against the risk of illness and \/ or accidents;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>booking of the\noutward and return flight<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>accommodation availability<\/strong> (hotel booking, declaration of hospitality).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" health coverage (apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.waitaly.net\/en\/pacchetti-welcome\/extra-ue-richiedente-visto-dingresso\/\" target=\"_blank\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.waitaly.net\/zh-hans\/pacchetti-welcome\/extra-ue-richiedente-visto-dingresso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"health coverage (apre in una nuova scheda)\">health coverage<\/a> allows the foreigner Extra U.E. <strong>to live your most peaceful stay knowing you are covered<\/strong>, for more information <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/\u5f80\u4f86\/?lang=zh-hans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"contact us (apre in una nuova scheda)\">contact us<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Having health coverage allows the foreigner Extra U.E. to live his most peaceful stay knowing he is covered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":16419,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[676],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-16425","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-visa"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.4 -
