{"id":18507,"date":"2021-08-09T11:34:23","date_gmt":"2021-08-09T10:34:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/?p=18507"},"modified":"2024-08-09T10:47:19","modified_gmt":"2024-08-09T09:47:19","slug":"new-non-eu-countries-in-the-list-recommended-by-the-eu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/es\/news\/new-non-eu-countries-in-the-list-recommended-by-the-eu\/","title":{"rendered":"New non-EU countries in the list recommended by the EU"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-62987444-d371-4c01-be3e-f1024375f5fd\"><br><br>Italy loosens the restrictions for those traveling from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.waitaly.net\/2021\/07\/22\/dirimpettaio-italia-albania\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Albania<\/strong><\/a>, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro, but introduces a 5-day mini-quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-29024a05-c52b-4371-99bb-f8bc9cb3ab46\">Italy has established new anti-Covid rules for travel with non-European and non-Schengen countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-baeacfea-fddc-4622-82d3-12b42e119dad\">Health Minister Roberto Speranza signed the new ordinance which comes into force immediately, published in the Official Gazette and sent to the control authorities at all border crossings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-8f6c012a-c6d6-45c5-8a3b-8b81a5ffe3c7\">Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Montenegro have had an upgrade by joining the list recommended by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/es\/ciudadano-europeo-para-registrar-los-datos-personales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>EU<\/strong><\/a> where there are also the United States, Ukraine, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Japan, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/es\/news\/since-2020-registered-moldovans-have-converted-driving-licenses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Moldova<\/strong><\/a>, Qatar, Northern Ireland, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-07e718d0-9a16-4b27-93c5-bdd6d37a29de\"><strong>Necessary formalities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-4af0e785-befa-45c2-880f-2de5723445ac\">To travellers, whether they are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.waitaly.net\/en\/pacchetti-welcome\/extra-ue-richiedente-visto-dingresso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>tourists<\/strong><\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.waitaly.net\/en\/pacchetti-welcome\/cittadino-extra-ue-richiedente-permesso-di-soggiorno\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>residents<\/strong><\/a>, coming from the territories of these countries or transiting through these countries, the entry into Italy will be allowed only if the following Rules are observed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-bdd28bb6-3497-4ef5-aa65-f1fd05084f6e\"><li>Presentation at the time of boarding on the aircraft or ship, and at each ground control point, of the passenger location form, in digital or paper format.<\/li><li>Presentation of the negative result of the antigenic or molecular tampon for Covid, done no more than 72 hours before departure.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-ee8eb502-115d-45ac-bad7-f67b9dd5af23\">This time limit has been reduced to 48 hours for those arriving from the UK and Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-52acac39-81cc-40b0-977b-6e849fd9218e\"><strong>Reduction of the quarantine period<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-a43aebd5-c107-4863-9858-3990d2bade67\">In addition, the Italian health authorities make it mandatory for the 5-day mini-quarantine to be carried out at the address that each traveller has declared for the self-isolation. At the end of the isolation period, it will be mandatory to carry out a tampon and in the event of a negative result, it will not be necessary to extend the quarantine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-6925ac86-9366-4e39-9a60-383fc93ed52b\">Molecular or antigenic swabs are not mandatory for children up to 6 years of age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-fdc0f0ab-cd19-49f8-b196-41184a854cee\">Traveling in Italy with a private car for a period of less than 36 hours does not make the 5-day mini-quarantine
