{"id":16117,"date":"2020-03-17T10:43:25","date_gmt":"2020-03-17T09:43:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/?p=16117"},"modified":"2024-09-11T10:06:38","modified_gmt":"2024-09-11T09:06:38","slug":"are-you-an-extra-eu-student-here-is-the-process-to-obtain-your-residence-permit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/es\/news\/are-you-an-extra-eu-student-here-is-the-process-to-obtain-your-residence-permit\/","title":{"rendered":"Are you a student? the Iter for your residence permit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a aria-label=\" (apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/es\/ciudadano-extracomunitario-por-motivos-de-estudio\/?lang=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">residence permit for study reasons<\/a> is issued to non-EU citizens who want to attend a <strong>university or training \u00a0course<\/strong> in Italy, after obteining the issue of a special <strong>study visa<\/strong> by the Italian diplomatic mission in the country of origin or residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The duration of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studiare-in-italia.it\/studentistranieri\/moduli\/2020\/Circolare_2019_2020_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"residence permit for study (apre in una nuova scheda)\">residence permit for study<\/a> will correspond to that of the study course of schools, universities and advanced artistic, musical and choreutic training or for duly certified training. <strong>Foreign students<\/strong> will have to prove each year that they have taken exams or tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the enrollment in university courses, <strong>non-EU citizens<\/strong> must present documentation relating to the qualification obtained in the country of origin and a certificate of <strong>knowledge of the Italian language<\/strong>. If the citizen who has requested it meets the necessary requirements, the <strong>&nbsp;entry visa<\/strong> can be issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Holders of\nresidence permits for study are also minors who have come of age and regularly\nenrolled in a university study course, convert their residence permit for\nfamily reasons into study reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The student must first request the tax code, free of charge, by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.agenziaentrate.gov.it\/strumenti\/mappe\/mappeg.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Revenue Agency. (apre in una nuova scheda)\">Revenue Agency.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To obtain the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"tax code (apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.agenziaentrate.gov.it\/portale\/web\/guest\/schede\/istanze\/richiesta-ts_cf\/come-si-chiede-il-codice-fiscale\" target=\"_blank\">tax <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.agenziaentrate.gov.it\/portale\/web\/english\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"code (apre in una nuova scheda)\">code<\/a>, the student must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 fill in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agenziaentrate.gov.it\/portale\/web\/english\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"AA4 \/ 8 form (apre in una nuova scheda)\">AA4 \/ 8 form<\/a>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 show a valid <strong>identification document<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 deliver a <strong>copy of the valid passport<\/strong>, with the relevant visa where required or other equivalent document recognized by the Italian authorities or the identity certificate issued by the diplomatic or consular representation in Italy of the country of origin with the relative photo of the person concerned or the valid residence permit .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The request\nmust be submitted personally by the student, it is not possible to delegate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After that, &nbsp;the student can proceed, &nbsp;filling the form of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poste.it\/prodotti\/guida-rilascio-e-rinnovo-permesso-di-soggiorno.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"kit for the request of the residence permit (apre in una nuova scheda)\">kit for the request of the residence permit<\/a>, attaching the following documentation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 photocopy of <strong>passport<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 photocopy of the <strong>certification that attests the selected &nbsp;course of study<\/strong> , endorsed by the Italian Consular Diplomatic Representation when issuing the entry visa;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 photocopy of the Insurance Policy valid in the national territory for the duration of the residence permit against the risk of illness and \/ or accidents;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 \u20ac 16.00 <strong>revenue stamp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>bulletin<\/strong> of \u20ac 70.46;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 &nbsp;winnings scholarship certificate (in &nbsp;case of obtaining a scholarship) or proof of sufficient means and economic resources during the stay in Italy, equal to at least 460.28 euros per month, for each month of &nbsp;the duration of the academic year, to document with remittances, bank deposits, current accounts (ask for the bank statement from your bank);<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>fiscal Code<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the student has filled in the application, it must &nbsp;to be sent personally by the student at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poste.it\/cerca\/index.html#\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Post Office (apre in una nuova scheda)\">Post Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the shipment of the Application, a special Receipt will be issued, with the date of the <strong>appointment at the Police Headquarters<\/strong> of the applicant for the detection of fingerprints and the control of the documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This\nreceipt is extremely important, because it shows that the Residence Permit\nApplication has been sent correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a foreign citizen who stays in Italy with a residence permit for study reasons and you need information on your <strong>health coverage<\/strong>, do not hesitate to contact <strong>Insurance Italy<\/strong>, a &nbsp;dedicated desk for foreign citizens of the <a aria-label=\"General Agency of Rome Parioli Liegi Generali Italia S.p.A.
