{"id":16805,"date":"2020-06-15T16:42:18","date_gmt":"2020-06-15T15:42:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/?p=16805"},"modified":"2020-06-15T16:42:19","modified_gmt":"2020-06-15T15:42:19","slug":"seasonal-workers-can-the-permit-be-converted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/en\/news\/seasonal-workers-can-the-permit-be-converted\/","title":{"rendered":"Seasonal workers: can the permit be converted?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone who has found a non-seasonal job <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/en\/news\/is-it-possible-to-convert-my-residence-permit\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">can convert the residence permit <\/a>for seasonal work into subordinate work from the first entry into Italy, without distinction that the contract offered is for a fixed or indefinite period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to make the <strong>conversion<\/strong>, however, it is necessary to check the availability of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interno.gov.it\/it\/notizie\/decreto-flussi-2019-ingresso-30850-lavoratori-non-comunitari\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quotas within the flows decree<\/a>. In addition, at the time of application, the foreigner must be in possession of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/en\/news\/seasonal-work-rules-for-entering-italy\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">valid seasonal work permit<\/a> and fulfill these <strong>requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. the worker has already <strong>worked as a seasonal worker for at least 3 months<\/strong>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. the <strong>contract offered is congruous<\/strong> with respect to the economic capacity of the employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the <strong>conversion procedure<\/strong> is completed directly in Italy, <strong>without the need for the foreigner to return to his country of origin to make the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/en\/news\/work-what-should-i-do-to-request-a-renewal-of-the-permit\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">entry visa for subordinate work<\/a><\/strong>. The application must be <strong>sent via the electronic system of the Ministry of the Interior<\/strong>, by filling in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www1.interno.gov.it\/mininterno\/export\/sites\/default\/it\/assets\/files\/14\/0497_infoVB.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VB form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subsequently, the worker must go to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prefettura.it\/portale\/multidip\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prefecture<\/a> near his home with the following documentation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 \u20ac 16.00 revenue stamp to be used for the application;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 \u20ac 16.00 revenue stamp to be affixed on the clearance;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/en\/news\/seasonal-work-rules-for-entering-italy\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">valid residence permit for seasonal work<\/a>;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 non-seasonal subordinate employment contract;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 copy of the employer&#8217;s identity document;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 valid passport of the applicant;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 mandatory notification of hiring relating to the first entry, Unilav hiring model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of a positive outcome, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interno.gov.it\/it\/temi\/immigrazione-e-asilo\/modalita-dingresso\/sportello-unico-limmigrazione\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Single Desk for Immigration<\/a> fixes the appointment for the signature of the residence contract and releases the form for the request of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/en\/news\/foreign-worker-heres-how-to-get-your-permit\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> residence permit for subordinate work <\/a>to be sent to the Police Headquarters through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.poste.it\/prodotti\/guida-rilascio-e-rinnovo-permesso-di-soggiorno.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Post Office kit<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, <strong>the Questura issues the residence permit for subordinate work <\/strong>after completing the procedure necessary for the release.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It can convert the permit for seasonal work into subordinate work from the first entry into Italy, without distinction that the contract offered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":16802,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[659],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-16805","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-work-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.6 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Seasonal workers: can the permit be converted?
