{"id":16684,"date":"2020-05-25T10:00:04","date_gmt":"2020-05-25T09:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/?p=16684"},"modified":"2020-05-25T10:38:59","modified_gmt":"2020-05-25T09:38:59","slug":"self-employment-is-it-possible-to-renew-the-permit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/en\/news\/self-employment-is-it-possible-to-renew-the-permit\/","title":{"rendered":"Self-employment: is it possible to renew the permit?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/en\/news\/work-what-should-i-do-to-request-a-renewal-of-the-permit\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"request for renewal of the residence permit (apre in una nuova scheda)\">request for renewal of the residence permit<\/a> <strong>must be submitted <\/strong>60 days before the expiry date and up to 60 days after the expiry date, <strong>attaching a copy of the following documentation<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.insuranceitaly.it\/en\/news\/foreign-worker-heres-how-to-get-your-permit\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"residence permit (apre in una nuova scheda)\">residence permit<\/a>;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. <strong>passport<\/strong> pages showing personal data;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. <a href=\"https:\/\/quifinanza.it\/fisco-tasse\/aprire-partita-iva-regimi-costi\/347826\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"VAT number (apre in una nuova scheda)\"><strong>VAT number<\/strong><\/a> attribution;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.retecamere.it\/cciaa-iscrizione-camera-di-commercio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (apre in una nuova scheda)\">registration with the Chamber of Commerce<\/a><\/strong>, Industry, Crafts or recent Chamber of Commerce registration;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. <a href=\"https:\/\/fiscomania.com\/aprire-partita-iva-lavoratore-autonomo-o-ditta-individuale-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"authorization or registration in a special register (apre in una nuova scheda)\"><strong>authorization or registration in a special register<\/strong><\/a> if required by current legislation for the exercise of the professional activity carried out;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agenziaentrate.gov.it\/portale\/web\/english\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" tax return  (apre in una nuova scheda)\"><strong> tax return <\/strong><\/a>and provisional balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the application for release or renewal has been submitted, the foreign self-employed worker must wait for the date of appointment at the <a href=\"https:\/\/questure.poliziadistato.it\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Police Headquarters (apre in una nuova scheda)\">Police Headquarters<\/a>. On the pre-established day, the foreign citizen<strong> will go to the indicated office where<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.camera.it\/cartellecomuni\/leg14\/rapportoattivitacommissioni\/testi\/01\/01_cap09_sch02.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"photodactyloscopic (fingerprints) surveys (apre in una nuova scheda)\">photodactyloscopic (fingerprints) surveys<\/a><\/strong> will be carried out. The applicant is issued a copy of his request on which a stamp with the filing date is affixed, this <strong>receipt must be kept with care as it is the only document certifying the regular stay of the foreigner in Italian territory.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some police headquarters when the residence permit is ready\nsend a text message with the indications for the withdrawal (date, time and\nplace).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can know the processing status of the application and\nthe date of call for the withdrawal also:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.portaleimmigrazione.it\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"on the immigration portal (apre in una nuova scheda)\">on the immigration portal<\/a><\/strong> by entering the access credentials shown on the receipt issued by Poste Italiane at the time of delivery of the request;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"on the official portal of the State Police (apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.poliziadistato.it\/articolo\/10619\" target=\"_blank\">on the official portal of the State Police<\/a><\/strong>, by clicking on the &#8220;<strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Your residence permit (apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"https:\/\/questure.poliziadistato.it\/stranieri\" target=\"_blank\">Your residence permit<\/a><\/strong>&#8221; section located at the top right. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the subjects for which <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"compulsory registration to the N.H.S. (apre in una nuova scheda)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.salute.gov.it\/imgs\/C_17_opuscoliPoster_118_ulterioriallegati_ulterioreallegato_4_alleg.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">compulsory registration to the N.H.S.<\/a> we also find foreigners legally resident, or who have requested the renewal of the residence permit, for self-employment.
